The AlgoBot (also called the AlgoBot) is our best-selling professional automated trading strategy for NinjaTrader 8. It follows an algorithmic trading plan with consistency — reacting to market conditions instantly, with no hesitation or emotion. It's built directly in NinjaScript and integrated with NinjaTrader's ATM/ATI order management for fast, reliable execution.

It executes trades automatically based on pre-set rules — entering, managing, and exiting positions with precision and speed. It enters on its configured signals and then handles stops, trailing stops, and profit targets in real time. Its algorithmic logic identifies trend direction and key reversals, automatically switching between long and short as market conditions change.

The AlgoBot automates entries, exits, and trade management, but it's designed to be monitored — not run as a hands-off black box. You choose when to run it and remain responsible for your trades and risk management.

You'll need NinjaTrader 8 on Windows 10 or 11, a stable internet connection for real-time data and order execution, a DirectX 10-compatible graphics card (standard in most computers), and at least 4 GB of memory (8 GB preferred).

It's about as simple as using NinjaTrader itself. Your purchase includes a trading manual that walks you through installing and running the AlgoBot, plus step-by-step videos for setting it up on different futures. Most traders are comfortable within 2–4 weeks (sometimes as little as one week), depending on experience.

It's optimized for the NQ (E-mini Nasdaq) futures, but the same core engine supports a wide range of markets worldwide for consistent behavior across instruments. Many traders also run it on ES, YM, CL, and RTY.

No coding is required — it's a finished NinjaScript strategy you configure through the NinjaTrader interface. Some trading familiarity helps, and the AlgoBot is not a black box to follow blindly; judgment is still needed to filter conditions and manage risk. Any broker compatible with NinjaTrader 8 will work. The AlgoBot is integrated with NinjaTrader's ATM/ATI order management, so it routes and manages orders through your NinjaTrader connection.

Because it runs on NinjaTrader 8, it can be used on funded accounts at NinjaTrader-friendly prop firms — but always check each firm's automation policy first, as some restrict or limit automated trading. See our Prop Firms page for a shortlist.

One-time. There are no monthly or yearly fees. Your license includes free lifetime updates, and the software is updated about twice a year to stay current with NinjaTrader.
